Meet Matt Coffman
My name is Matt and I am a husband to an amazing wife and a father to five wonderful children. I am a naturally gifted artist who spent the majority of my professional career in marketing and advertising.
In 2013, my wife and I unplugged from the busyness of the mainland to pursue a more intentional family life in the Aloha State. It was during this time that I began to transition from using a mouse and keyboard to a brush and palette. As a result, the expressive freehand methods of watercolor began to emerge.
As an artist, I am inspired by the beauty of the world around us. Just as a masterful piece of art indicates the hand of an artist, I believe the world declares the handiwork of God. When an individual takes the time to look past the fingerprints of society and gaze at the beauty of our marvelous creation, we see not the happenstance of a cosmic accident, but the hand of a colorful, benevolent, and ingenious Creator.
As the age of AI-generated art and print-on-demand services continues to change the landscape of home decor, I believe there will be a growing value and appreciation for fine art that reveals the hand of a personal creator.
