The colorful canoes are ready again to set sail for a new batch of explorers headed to Captain Cooks Cove. This image captures Kealakekua Bay on the South Shore of the Big Island, which has gorgeous black rock formations that reflect deep within the crystal-clear water of the bay. The glow from the plastic ocean vessels and set in front of the Veridian water was a sight to behold.

This quarter-sheet original watercolor was painted on Arches, acid-free, 100% cotton watercolor paper manufactured in France. The hand-painted finished art size is 15 inches wide by 11 inches high. The finished frame size is approximately 20 inches long by 16 inches tall. All framed work is professionally framed and matted with acid-free paper and is protected with Tru Vue UV glass.
